Management theory

The management theory concentrates on organization, group performance, and supervision.

Transactional leadership refers to a system of punishments and rewards,

and it is regularly utilised in business (Khorasani and Almasifard, 2017).

As per this theory, managers reward employees when they become successful.

Both punishments and consequences have the capability of decreasing morale in the organization.

If the employees make changes in the restaurant and make the bedrooms more beautiful, the employers will reward those employees.

Participative theory

Participative theory suggests that employees can be involved directly in the decision-making in the business organization.

The leader can facilitate a productive conversation and the leader can take all of the suggestions from his employees.

In this case, the team’s input is considered during the process of decision-making and the decision is made by the leader.

Participative leadership

Participative leadership and democratic leadership are same.

It is a style of leadership where all of the members work with each other for making decisions.

Participative leadership follows several steps and those steps are discussed as a group, sharing of information, sharing of ideas,

summary of ideas, development of decisions, and implementation of decisions (Indeed.com, 2021).

In the first step, it has been identified that a leader can oversee the process.

In the next step, the leader has to share all the relevant information. In the third step,

the group shares all of the ideas about solving the issues.

In the fourth step, the leader summarises the ideas and information for the group.

The group makes the best decision on the basis of ideas and information.

All of the members of the business organization can implement the decision at the workplace.
