The “Driscoll Reflective Model” is a framework which is associated with processes for reflection that helps in developing structural processes that are associated with reflection. Based on the several models of reflection it is appropriate from making the right choice since the reflection effectiveness depends on the individual using it. This model of reflection which has been mentioned in this part is associated with three types of stem questions that are “what”, “So what” and “Now what”

Driscoll's Reflective Model

This is the above figure which is associated with the Driscoll’s  reflective Model  students and three types of stems are being analysed based on the steps of this model and related to this factor a reflection can be presented required for providing self-information based on a situation. The initial step of the model is associated with gathering experience regarding an event. The second step is associated with analysing all the tasks and all the purposes any individual has gathered from the event and the last part is associated with specific proposed action which is relevant to the event.

LThis theory of reflection is often aimed to be a teacher since this helps in transferring all kinds of knowledge to others. John Driscoll’s model of reflection  for students also helps all kinds of teachers and is effective to justify the importance in the field of academics. Reflective practice is creating an engagement based on their work. The reflective models for students are used across diverse disciplines which are required in case of individual help as well as development for the completion of tasks. This model is effective in accelerating the learning process and supplementing all kinds of self experience.

Figure 6: Importance of reflective writing

Importance Of Reflective Writing

The figure analyses the importance of reflective writing, in the previous part of the blog a model of reflection is mentioned which is effective for the student for learning different experiences of any event so that the student can effectively handle all kinds of working in an event. Reflective journals are mainly written with the help of several reflective models as well as reflective theories thus the benefits of reflective journals are dependent on the reflection models which are used by scholars for providing experience evidence for the student. This journal helps in changing the attitude of the student from reluctance to addiction. Reflective journals for theories which are required for writing information for reflective journals are considered as certain specific tools that are required for forming mutual communication. This reflective journal helps in providing guidance as well as instruction to the students who are going through similar events. A reflective journal is a significant tool which is relevant in the case of revising all the learned things for the exam so that every individual can effectively give all the exams. Reflective journals are also effective in providing students with the attributes of critical thinking.

The model which is mentioned included three methods of question and any individual using this model needs to answer all the questions based on the event any individual has experienced. We have experienced several kinds of things in our learning platform however due to a lack of analysis we are unable to understand what skills we are leading or what features are lacking. This kind of learning is effective for self-development and this kind of feature can be attributed to the help of analysing events in any reflective model since these features help in gaining an idea of the skills any individual possesses or any skills that are required to be improved to be more perfect at any effect.  The model of Driscoll was explained by himself by several observations in his realise where the student has faced several kinds of problems in dealing with any repetitive task and this observation justifies that individuals are not analysing any learning from the repetitive task. This is the reason he discovered the reflective model so that anyone can represent and analyse the learning they have learned.  Teachers also can use this kind of model for providing education regarding similar events to the students.
